Ezekiel 4-5, Song of Solomon 3, Matthew 24:23-51
What God said to me – My disciples asked Me for two signs – the sign of My coming again and the sign of the end of the ages. The sign of My coming was easy – it will be blasted across the skies, and everyone will know that I have arrived. The sign of the end of the ages is more subtle. Look at the parable of the fig tree – when it leaf’s out you know summer is near. So, look at Israel, My fig tree – it began to leaf out when it was miraculously re-established as a nation and through the years it has grown and matured. I said that the generation that saw it would not pass away until these things took place – the end of the age and My return. Time is running out – you need to feel the urgency and warn others of what is coming. Look at the example of Noah – the people who knew Me, Noah and his family, knew that as the building of the ark progressed and neared completion that judgment was drawing closer. But the rest of the people, even though they saw the ark going up, never understood it until Noah entered the ark and the rain started to fall. The world is not going to get it until the church is raptured out and judgment begins to fall. So just as Noah used the building of the ark to warn of the coming judgment, you use Israel, the fig tree, to warn that judgment is imminent. “I AM” their only hope. Be bold.
