What God said to me – Envy is called the “green monster” for a reason. If you let it into your heart and mind, it can pull you away from walking closely with Me. It is a sin that by its very nature it questions My sovereignty and My plan for your life. I have a plan for your life and “I AM” working out for your good and for My glory and though you may have struggles along the way, your ending will be glorious as you come into My kingdom. Don’t fall into the trap of thinking all of your good works and doing the right thing and following Me was in vain because you have struggles and evil people are prospering. You may see the wicked prospering now and getting wealthier and wealthier and seeming to have an easy life, but don’t envy them because their end will be total destruction and condemnation. When you trust My sovereignty and My plan, you can learn to be content in whatever circumstances you find yourself. My nearness is for your good, so look to Me for contentment and not your possessions or circumstances.
