2 Samuel 14:1-15:22, John 18:1-21, Psalms 119:97-112, Proverbs 16:8-9
What God said to me – Solar lights are great in a garden or along an unlit path. However, if they have not had enough exposure to the sun, they are useless because they have no ability to shine on their own. “I AM” the Light of the world and I live in My children. I told you to let your light shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify Me. The thing is, you are like the solar light – you cannot shine unless you have enough exposure to the “Son”. My word is a light to your feet and a lamp to your path so you can see the way I want you to go – like the solar light – you need enough exposure to My word for it to be a light for you. Exposure to Me and to My word is key if you are to walk in the light. Use this time with me and in My word to soak it all up so when the way becomes dark – and it will – you’ll be able to walk without stumbling and remain faithful and steadfast in your service and worship.
