1 Kings 9-10, Acts 8:14-40, Psalms 130:1-8, Proverbs 17:2-3
What God said to me – As My child I have placed you where you are for a purpose. I have a plan for you to minister and to serve, not just to Me, but to others. As you go through your day, don’t rush through to get done what you need to get done but learn to stop and really look at the people you encounter and look at each one from the perspective that you have encountered them for a reason, by divine appointment. Give them your attention – sincerely ask how they are – use their responses as opportunities to share, even just snippets of My goodness and care for them – be inventive and look for ways to introduce Me into casual conversations. When Philip encountered the eunuch, he opened the conversation by asking what he was reading and then shared from there. With all the turmoil in the world and frightening events, people are uneasy and frightened. Use their comments as an opportunity to comfort and to share about the hope you have in Me and My plan for the world. You won’t lead everyone you meet to Me or even get a positive response, but you will open a door that someday they might walk through.
