What God said to me – In WWII, a young soldier name Thomas sent his young wife a letter and enclosed a small gold locket, a family heirloom, as a gift – a blessing that came through his family. Unfortunately, it was lost in the mail. However, eighty years later it was found in a dusty bin in a post office. A postal worker tracked down his granddaughter and sent her the letter. This young woman was the recipient of a beautiful love letter and a family blessing she neither sought nor earned. It was a blessing that was promised to another, but she gratefully received it. Long before there was a nation of Israel or My Law, I promised Abraham a gift, a blessing. I promised that through him, through his family, that all of the nations of the earth would be blessed. That gift, that blessing, is My Son, Jesus Christ. You, My child, are the recipient of that gift and blessing promised long ago to Abraham. When you repented and believed, you received the promise of the Spirit through faith and the blessing of this wonderful gift is the fulfillment of the promise I made so long ago to Abraham. So, rejoice in the wonder of My faithfulness in fulfilling My promises and blessings. He is My gift to you – rejoice and give thanks.
