Malachi 1-2, Isaiah 54
What God said to me – Today is much like the days of Malachi where the people who say they are Mine disrespect Me and choose how they worship Me and how they live. It is not Me they are worshipping, but themselves. It is not Me they are living for, but themselves. They make excuses for their behavior and say God would not reject anyone, yet they do not know Me or speak for Me. What I call sin, they now say is acceptable because “times” have changed. They disregard My word so they will not be convicted. They excuse the sin of others so their own sin might be excused. They profane My name by disregarding My word. I have grown weary of their words – My justice will not wait much longer.
