What God said to me – I laid out My plans for the world before its foundation – from start to finish. I told various details to prophets to prophesy in advance, not for My sake, but for yours so you could see My faithfulness and your faith and trust in Me would grow. Little details and seemingly insignificant occurrences are recorded in My word for your edification – the soldiers gambling for My clothes – the sour wine that was given to Me – the thieves legs being broken, but not Mine – My side being pierced – all were fulfillment of prophesies from hundreds of years before. As you read My word and see how I carried out all of My plans down to the smallest detail, know that you can trust Me to do the same for you. I know the plans I have for you and I will faithfully carry them out. That doesn’t mean that you will never suffer – in the world you will have tribulation. My own suffering was part of My plan, but I worked it for good. No matter what you are going through, I can and will work it for your good and My glory.
