What God said to me – Sometimes the greatest battle you face as a Christian is the battle within – walking in the Spirit or walking in the flesh. It is a constant struggle because you live in an ungodly world and you are surrounded by and bombarded with ungodly images and culture from television and movies to just walking down the street and ungodly behavior is touted as normal. So, what are you as My child to do so you can walk in a manner worthy of your calling? There is an old Sitting Bull quote about having an evil dog and a good dog inside of him who are constantly fighting – when asked which one wins out, he replied, “the one I feed the most.” The same is true for you – I have given you everything you need for life and godliness. I have even put My Spirit in you, so you are without excuse when you choose sin over walking with Me. The more you feed on My word and seeking Me in prayer and fellowship, the less you will find yourself choosing to follow the flesh. I will make you holy and sanctify you as you walk with Me moment by moment. Let Me do My perfect work in you.
