Romans 12-13, Proverbs 22:1-16
What God said to me – There is a saying that is good for you to remember as you go through life and see so many different people and circumstances – “there but for the grace of God go I.” Paul said something similar when he said, “For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think.” Never forget that I chose you to be My child and that you are who you are and where you are because of My mercy and My grace – not for anything you are or have done. This should cause you not only to be constantly worshipping and praising Me and expressing your gratitude, but it should cause you to walk in humility and kindness knowing that all you are and have is because of My goodness.
