John 7-8

What God said to me – When it comes down to it there are only two choices that matter – life or death – good or evil – believe Me or reject Me.  These are all the same.  Choose Me and you choose life.  Reject Me and you choose death.  Choose Me and you choose good.  Reject Me and you choose evil.  The world hated Me because My word testified that their deeds were evil.  When you choose Me the world will hate you for the same reason.  When you stand on My word you will be rejected and scorned by the world.  It is not an easy place to be.  The desire to be accepted and loved is something I put in you but don’t let it be the reason you compromise. Keep your focus on Me and find love and acceptance in Me.  I will never let you down or abandon you.  You will always find love and forgiveness in Me.

John 5-6

What God said to me – Having a good reputation among men is good but what I think is more important.  When you walk with Me in obedience there may be times when you draw criticism from people.  The question you need to ask yourself is “are you doing what I told you to do in the way I told you to do it?”  If so, you need to let their criticism roll off your back.  Don’t worry about it or try to explain or respond.   You just keep walking with Me.  Don’t compromise your walk with Me in order to gain praise from them.  Your goal is to please Me.  Your aim is to become more and more like Me as you allow Me to work in your life and transform you.  Live like this and you will hear Me say “well done”.

John 3-4

What God said to me – In the world today there are many – preachers – teachers – politicians – celebrities – even friends or coworkers – who profess to know Me and yet their words and their lifestyles are direct contradictions to that.  The things they do and say and promote directly violate the truths in My word.  If they are people you don’t know then shut them down, turn them off, don’t listen to what they have to say.  If they are people you do know then speak the truth to them in love, praying they will come to repentance and to a full knowledge of the truth.  But you stay alert and close to Me so you do not slip away into false teaching.  Do not let your love for them cause you to fall away from Me.
