Mark 6-7

What God said to me – Time alone with Me is essential.  There is so much going on in your life and in your family and friends and in the world around you it is easy for you to be tired mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.  You need to draw alone with Me regularly so I can minister to you and refresh you and so you can hear from Me.  Depression is rampant in the world today.  The enemy takes away hope even from My children.  “I AM” your hope – not just for the future, but for today.  Spend time with Me so I can fill your heart and mind and renew your strength.  I will fill you with hope for today and for tomorrow.  Come to Me you who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Mark 4-5

What God said to me – Storms come into everyone’s life.  The question is what were you doing when the storm came?  The disciples were on a boat in the middle of the sea, but they were there because they were following Jesus’ instructions, and He was there with them.  Learn from this for the principle is the same – if you are walking with Me when the storm comes, “I AM” right there with you.  As distressful as it may be, there is no reason to be afraid for “I AM” with you.  I can calm the storm immediately in answer to your cry, but if I choose not to you can be assured you are where I want you and I will be with you through it.  At that point rather than continuing to ask Me to stop it, begin to ask Me what “I AM” doing in your life.  Trust that I have a purpose in the storm that is for your good and My glory.

Mark 1-3

What God said to me – Do you see when My Son came the first time it was because the time was fulfilled – it was at a specific point in time that I planned from the foundation of the world.  When He comes again it will also be when the time has been fulfilled – a specific point in time – the end of the ages that I also planned from the foundation of the world.  Just as John the Baptist preached the kingdom of God is at hand – repent and believe the gospel, the message for you to tell others is the same – the kingdom of God is at hand, repent and believe the gospel.  Time is running out.  You be faithful.  Look for opportunities that I bring to you so you can share.  Walk closely with Me so you will be found faithful.
