Amos 3-4, Isaiah 45:22-25, 46, 1 John 1

What God said to me – There are people who always read the end of the book first to make sure there is a happy ending or that the good guys win so they can read the book and not get upset by the twists and turns of the plot because they know the end is good.  You can rest assured as you go through life and see all that is going on in the world that everything is going to come out alright in the end.  You can know this because you know Me and My character – I always do what I say I will do.  In My word I have declared the end from the beginning – I will come again and take my people home to be with Me – I will establish My kingdom where there will be no more sorrows or tears – I will destroy death and Satan and evil.  So, take comfort and be at peace even with all the turmoil and chaos in the world.  You know the end of the story so watch with anticipation and eagerness as I move all the pieces into place.

Amos 1-2, Isaiah 44:24-28, 45, 2 Timothy 4

What God said to me – I encouraged Timothy through Paul to preach the word whether it was in season or out of season – whether it was popular or not – whether it was accepted or not and I exhort you to do the same.  No matter the audience or reception you may receive, you are to stand on My word.  You live in a time where people do not want to hear sound teaching because it is convicting and calls them to change, but you must be faithful to share it because it is convicting and calls them to change.  If My people do not stand and deliver the truth of My word, then people will never hear it because too many teachers and leaders have arisen who say what people want to hear so they can continue to live in sin without guilt or conviction.  There is no such thing as people living “their truth” – there is only “My truth” and you must be faithful to stand on it and not compromise.

Joel 2:28-32, 3, Isaiah 44:12-28, 2 Timothy 3

What God said to me – Have you ever started a project that you thought was going to be easy only to get in the middle of it and realize that you had neither the knowledge nor the proper equipment to do it?  You run to the store to buy what you need and frantically search for a YouTube video to show you what to do.  This life with Me is not easy but you never have to worry about getting in the middle of something I called you to do and then not have the things necessary to follow through.  I have given you everything you need for life and godliness.  This time with Me in great part is preparation for those things I call you to do.  You have My Spirit as teacher and guide. You also have My word which is able to equip you for every good work as you allow Me to teach you and reprove you and correct you and train you in righteousness.  Approach this time with an attitude that is eager to learn and to be trained and you’ll find yourself being used in ways you never imagined.
