Zephaniah 3, Isaiah 57, Revelation 11

What God said to me – You live in a day where people think nothing of what they say or how they say it.  All around you hear crass and coarse speech so much that you are immune to it because it is so common.  People try to be funny or shocking or with it.  Even My children say crude things without a thought.  However, I said that what proceeds out of the mouth is what is in your heart.  When Isaiah saw me high and lifted up, he fell on his face crying, “Woe is me for I am a man of unclean lips.”  He understood that what came out of his mouth revealed his sinful condition.  I told Isaiah that in the last days I would give My people purified lips so that they could call on My name.  So, be careful what you say and how you say it so that you are not praying and praising out of a mouth that is also coarse and crude.  Let Me transform your heart and mind so that what comes out of your mouth is pleasing to Me.

Zephaniah 1-2, Isaiah 56, Revelation 10

What God said to me – Have you ever been to a place where you felt out of place – you were overdressed or underdressed or just out of your depth – you didn’t know what to say or how to act to fit in?  Just as “I AM” gathering My children, Israel, back to their land from all the places they have been dispersed, “I AM” also coming to gather My children, the church, home with Me.  It is a place where no one will ever feel awkward or out of place – where people from every tribe and every tongue will come together as family and friends and they will rejoice on My holy mountain in My house of prayer.  The best way you can prepare for My salvation that is coming is to pray – to walk in righteousness and to pray.  You are My house, and I live in you and My house is a house of prayer, so pray.  Pray about everything – the people you encounter – the things you see on the news – your family, your friends – My coming – whatever enters your heart and mind – pray for it.

Habakkuk 3, Isaiah 55, Revelation 9

What God said to me – Judgment was coming, and Habakkuk knew it.  Not only had he prophesied it, but he knew Me and He knew My character so he waited quietly before Me knowing an invasion was coming and his people would be devastated.  While he waited, he purposed in his heart to exult in Me – to rejoice in Me because I was the God of his salvation, even when the judgment was not because of his sin, but because of his nation’s sin.  When I make the decision to execute judgment on a nation because of its sin there is sometimes a remnant of My children, like Habakkuk, who suffer the consequences of their nation’s sin.  Never forget that all that happens to My children is for their good and My glory so be like Habakkuk in whatever circumstance you find yourself and purpose in your heart to exult In Me, the God of your salvation.  I will be your strength and peace throughout it all.
