1 Chronicles 6, Proverbs 16:1-17, Ephesians 5

What God said to me – You’ve heard the old saying “getting the most bang for your buck.”  So how are you as children of Light to “get the most bang for your buck” spiritually?  How are you to invest your time in order to walk in a manner worthy of your calling?  You must be wise and learn to make the most of your time because these days are evil and judgment is coming.  You must start by trying to learn what is pleasing to Me, by studying My word and praying constantly about everything.  You must not participate in the ungodly things of the world and guard your heart and mind from exposure to them by taking care with what you watch and read and think about.  Let your focus be on good and uplifting things and be known as a person who expresses gratitude both to Me and to others.  Walk as children of Light.

1 Chronicles 5, Proverbs 15:16-33, Ephesians 5

What God said to me – It has been said that time is the most precious commodity you have – so why is that?  Time is limited – you only have so much of it, and you can’t get more or make more and as far as the world is concerned, it is literally running out.  The time for repentance is coming to an end and the time for judgment is approaching.  So, what does this mean for you, My child?  How are you to live as the clock ticks down?  You must be careful how you walk and you must make the most of your time for the days are evil.  Never forget that the time you have to make an impact in the lives of others is also drawing to a close.  You must thoughtfully and intentionally walk in a manner that glorifies Me in your actions and in your speech.  Look for opportunities to be encouraging and uplifting in your encounters with others.  Talk about the blessing of your walk with Me and how “I AM” at work in your life and in the world.  Talk about the hope that you have in the midst of the darkness enveloping the world.  Be imitators of Me and sharers of My love.

1 Chronicles 4, Proverbs 15:1-17, Ephesians 4

What God said to me – As My child I have called you to walk in a manner worthy of your calling.  So, what does that mean to you practically – how are you to walk?  As My child, you are part of My body, the church.  I have placed each one of My children into a place within the body where they are to grow and minister to others within the body so that My church is mature in every area and able to minister as I have called her to do.  I have gifted and equipped each one of you for that purpose so walking in a manner worthy of your calling is learning and exercising your gifts and your calling to build up the body and glorify Me in the process.  You are to walk in a manner that is visibly different from that of unbelievers.  You are to lay aside your old habits and practices and be renewed in the spirit of your mind.  When you truly put on your new self which has been created in My likeness in righteousness and holiness, your speech is different, your actions are different, your entertainment is different, your work ethic is different, your goals are different – I have called you to a high calling – are you walking in a manner worthy of it?
