1 Chronicles 3, Proverbs 14:17-35, Ephesians 4

What God said to me – You live in a world where everyone does what is right in their own eyes and truth and righteousness are pretty much disregarded.  But I say to you to walk in a manner worthy of your calling.  Your calling is to be like Me, so you are to walk in humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love.  Now when I say to show tolerance it is not the same as when society says to be tolerant.  I never instruct My children to be tolerant of sin.  Sin is abhorrent to Me and is never to be tolerated.  So, when you are confronted with sin you must speak the truth in love, offering the opportunity for redemption and forgiveness.  When I say to show tolerance, I mean for people and the differences in personalities and customs and ways of doing things – you may be quiet and calm, but you should still tolerate those who are loud and excitable.  You should appreciate those who are not like you and the different perspective they can bring.  I put each one in My body for a purpose and unity within the body is glorifying to Me.

What God said to me – One of the things this time alone with Me does is to strengthen your inner man with power through My Spirit.  I have given Him to you as your Teacher and your Counselor to guide you into all truth.  You cannot be rooted and grounded in love and able to comprehend the depth of My love apart from time with Me and My word.  It’s as you come to truly know and understand My love and its breadth and height and length and depth that you can be filled with My fulness and minister as I lead.  When I tell you that your service and ministry must be rooted and grounded in love, I don’t mean love for those you are serving and ministering to – I mean love for Me.  If you base it on love for those you are ministering to you will burn out or be hurt or become discouraged.  When you base it on your love for Me then our relationship will deepen and you will mature as I teach you how to navigate whatever happens and “I AM” able to do far more abundantly than you can  think or ask.

What God said to me – Have you ever really thought about what it means to be My child?  Because you are Mine you have direct access to Me – you can come before Me boldly and confidently because “I AM” your Abba Father.  “I AM” always available and ready and willing to hear from you, to comfort you and to teach you and to guide you in the truth.  You have no idea how many times I have waited for you to come – to seek Me – knowing that “I AM” exactly what you need and yet you hesitate.  Sometimes it’s out of pride or self-sufficiency or just not wanting to bother Me with something so insignificant.  Never hesitate to bring anything and everything before Me.  My desire is to be your all in all and to strengthen you by My Spirit in your inner man so that you are rooted and grounded in Me.  “I AM” able to do far more abundantly beyond all that you ask or think so come boldly and confidently before My throne.
