What God said to me – I know how difficult it is when those you love fall away into a sinful and ungodly lifestyle because My children do it all the time.  I know your heartbreak and your anguish as you pray and wait and anxiously look forward to the day when they will repent and return.  I experienced it when My children, Israel, left Me to go after false gods.  The consequences they reaped for their rebellion were severe and yet I loved them through it all and even today “I AM” in the process of restoring Israel to full fellowship with Me.  It has been a long process but My timetable and timing are always perfect.  So as much as you sorrow and grieve for your situation, don’t be discouraged – “I AM” at work – you trust My timetable and My timing.

Jeremiah 19-20, Psalms 147, 1 Corinthians 3:10-23 to 4

What God said to me – For those who are Mine, “I AM” the foundation of their lives, their savior, and their hope for a future and eternal life.  It’s easy to say and see in your “spiritual” life as you go to church and serve and minister to others, but what about other areas of your life?  Am I the foundation in your business life?  Do you do your work diligently as unto Me?  Do you make your business decisions based on biblical principles?  What about in your family – am I the foundation of your family?  Do you pray and share and worship together?  I should even be the foundation of the times you relax and play – are you known for being My child and for being fair and encouraging to others?  I want to be the foundation of your WHOLE life – of everything you think and do.

Jeremiah 17-18, Psalms 146, 1 Corinthians 3

What God said to me – Where is your hope for the future?  Is it in political parties or candidates to turn your nation around and to have a prosperous future?  You know it’s not.  You know your hope is in Me alone.  You know that “I AM” in control and working out My plan for your good and My glory.  So where are you devoting your time – to Me in My word and prayer or listening to the news and latest polls and worrying about the future?  That’s not to say that you should live in a spiritual bubble and be uninformed about the world around you.  You should take a stand for what is right and godly.  You should be able to articulate your beliefs based on My word and not based on your politics.  Know that leaders come and go based on My sovereign plan so trust Me to save the world, not them.
