2 Chronicles 6, Proverbs 27:14-27, Matthew 10:1-33

What God said to me – Think about this – heaven and the highest heaven cannot contain Me and yet I chose to fill the house that Solomon built for Me.  It was the same with the tabernacle that Moses built for Me – My glory filled it and I met with him there.  Even more, I have come and tabernacled with My church by dwelling in the hearts of each one of My children.  In the temple and in the tabernacle, the High Priest came into My Presence once a year.  Yet with you, My child, “I AM” with you always – every moment – and you have the privilege of talking to Me and worshipping Me and spending time with Me whenever you want to do so.  So, what are you doing with this great blessing and opportunity?

2 Chronicles 4-5, Proverbs 27:1-14, Matthew 9

What God said to me – The world today is a difficult, chaotic, frightening place to live. You see it and wonder how people can go through the things they do without Me in their lives. You have Me and know Me and trust Me and you can see Me at work in the world and in your life. So be compassionate toward those who do not know Me because they are distressed by all that is happening, and they don’t have Me to guide them or to comfort them. Even though the world may seem like a lost cause, there are still some who will respond and come to Me. Pray for them. Pray for faithful believers to reach out to them and share. You be faithful to reach out to them and share. The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.

2 Chronicles 2-3, Proverbs 26:13-28, Matthew 8

What God said to me – We all encounter storms in our life, difficult times and circumstances beyond our control.  The question is are you in the storm because you were following Me or because you went off on your own?  The answer to that question should determine your mindset throughout your trials and your response to them.  The disciples were in the middle of the storm because I got in the boat with them and told them to follow and they obeyed.  When they cried out in fear, I rebuked them – they were with Me and following Me so their response should have been trust, not fear.  However when you are in a storm because you went off on your own, you should be afraid because you are walking in disobedience.  You need to cry out to Me, but in repentance and seeking My guidance to get you back into My will.  Being in My will is the safest place for you to be no matter what is happening around you.
