1 Chronicles 8, Proverbs 17:1-14, Ephesians 6

What God said to me – I have instructed you as My child not to be conformed to this world but to be transformed by the renewing of your mind so that you may prove what My will is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.  This is what it means to put on the helmet of salvation.  As you spend time with Me in My word your mind is renewed and your understanding of Me and My character is expanded and ingrained so you will know My will and not fall into the delusion that is overtaking the world.  It is what gives you the wherewithal to pray at all times in the Spirit and to be alert so you can avoid the schemes of the devil and can persevere in prayer and petitions for all the saints.  The battle is growing heated, and time is running short – now is not the time to rest or let up.  It is the time for you to put on your armor, take up the sword of the Spirit and pray.

1 Chronicles 7, Proverbs 16:18-33, Ephesians 6

What God said to me – I have told you that these days are evil, and time is running out so you must be strong in order to stand against the schemes of the devil.  So, how do you do that?  Apart from Me you can’t!  Your own strength and willpower and ability is not sufficient and if you rely on them, you will fall.  You must be strong in Me and in the strength of My might.  I have given you everything you need for life and godliness and you must be diligent to use it all.  It is in this time that you learn how and in your daily walk that you practice it and live it out.  When a soldier is in the middle of a war, he doesn’t suit up with his armor and weapons when he feels like it – he does it every day and when the battle is particularly hot, he never takes them off.  So, every day you too must put on the full armor that I have provided you.  Make this a habit of your time with Me – go over each piece of your armor and weaponry and put them on with all prayer and petition so that you will be able to stand firm and resist the enemy.

1 Chronicles 6, Proverbs 16:1-17, Ephesians 5

What God said to me – You’ve heard the old saying “getting the most bang for your buck.”  So how are you as children of Light to “get the most bang for your buck” spiritually?  How are you to invest your time in order to walk in a manner worthy of your calling?  You must be wise and learn to make the most of your time because these days are evil and judgment is coming.  You must start by trying to learn what is pleasing to Me, by studying My word and praying constantly about everything.  You must not participate in the ungodly things of the world and guard your heart and mind from exposure to them by taking care with what you watch and read and think about.  Let your focus be on good and uplifting things and be known as a person who expresses gratitude both to Me and to others.  Walk as children of Light.
