1 Samuel 25, Psalms 105:1-24, Romans 9:1-24

What God said to me – I chose you to be My child not because of who you are or because of anything you have done or will do, but because of who “I AM”.  I chose to have mercy on you and to extend My grace to you so you might become My child because I love you and I have a plan for your life.  Never forget this truth but meditate on it and let the awe-filled wonder of it fill your heart and mind.  This should drive you to worship.  This should fill you with gratitude and wonder that I would choose one and not another and that “one” is you.  Not only did I choose you, but I want to spend time with you and teach you and transform you and use you as you submit to Me in obedience.  Approach this time with awe-filled wonder as I reveal Myself to you.

1 Samuel 23-24, Psalms 104:19-35, Romans 8:12-39

What God said to me – I love you enough that I will do or allow whatever it takes to conform you to My image and bring you to the place I want you to be.  Once you understand that the things you are experiencing are for a purpose, I can truly begin to work in your life because you begin to cooperate with Me as you submit to My hand.  I’m not saying it will be easy because true change – surrendering yourself to My will- is rarely easy.  But as you learn to say “not my will, but Yours be done” it will be easier because you will experience My peace and presence as you turn to Me in trust.  David could have taken matters into his own hands and killed Saul when he was presented with the opportunity and ended his years of running and hiding but he understood I had a plan I was carrying out for his good and My glory so he refused to take a shortcut even when he knew it might bring him relief.  He trusted My plan.  Do you?

1 Samuel 21-22, Psalms 104:1-18, Romans 8:1-30

What God said to me – Those I have called and made My children I have predestined to become conformed to the image of My Son.  So what does that mean practically for you?  You become a person who prays constantly.  My Son is now in heaven constantly interceding on your behalf.  You are more like Him when you pray than at any other time.  I have also given you My Spirit and He prays for you when you do not even know how to pray.  He intercedes according to My will.  So as you go through your day pray – no matter what happens – pray.  Each person you see – pray.  Don’t get wrapped up in the drama of life – pray.  Instead of worrying about your family – pray.  Instead of stewing over what is happening in your country – pray.  Cry out to Me constantly knowing that My Son and My Spirit are also praying.  “I AM” your Abba Father and I always hear you.  My will is going to be accomplished.
