Leviticus 26-27, Psalms 24, Luke 17 :1-21

What God said to me – Gratitude is a rare commodity now days and is rarely expressed.  Look at the ten lepers I healed – only one came back to express his gratitude.  What of the others?  Most people feel like they “deserve” all of the blessings they received or that they “earned” all they have because of their own hard work.  When they do that they fail to acknowledge My sovereignty or My goodness.  Expressing gratitude to Me is an act of worship.  When you acknowledge all that you are and have is because of Me and My sovereignty in carrying out My plan you are worshipping.  When you express gratitude to others for what they do or what they mean in your life, you are a witness of godly character and I’ll use your kindness to minister to them.

Leviticus 25, Psalms 23, Luke 16

What God said to me – I know you are anxious about all that is happening in your life and in the world.  Uncertainty is not easy.  This is where faith comes in.  When you can’t see how things are going to turn out, turn to Me.  Spend more time with Me and in My word and let Me restore your soul.  I will guide and I will walk with you.  Hold onto Me and let Me give you peace.  When you don’t know what to do or say keep doing the things you know to do and trust that when it’s time to do or say something that I’ll give you direction.  Being a good steward is not just with your things but it is also with how you live your life.  Spend much time with Me – seeking My direction and I’ll be pleased with you.

Leviticus 23-24, Psalms 22, Luke 15

What God said to me – I know you don’t think of Me as ever being sad or experiencing grief, but I do.  “I AM” sad when My children don’t spend time with Me because I know how good this time is for them.  “I AM” sad when My children are hurting.  I share your sorrows and understand your heartaches.  Come to Me in your grief and sorrow and let Me comfort you.  I called My Spirit a comforter for a reason.  He is always with you and He will comfort you and teach you how “I AM” using all you are going through for your good and My glory.  Turn to Him and He will give you joy and peace in the midst of your greatest sorrows.  I grieve when My children turn away from Me in sin because I know the destruction sin brings.  I will do whatever is necessary to bring them back to Me.  I will come after you and all of My children when they stray.  “I AM” a faithful Father.
