Genesis 27, Job 15, Mark 9:30-50

What God said to me – Waiting is difficult because you are trapped in time and your perspective is limited to the temporal rather than the eternal.  You pray and pray about things that concern you and it seems as if time slows even more as you watch for change and answered prayer.  It’s not that “I AM” slow about answering your prayers or about implementing My plans because My timing is perfect.  It’s your perspective that is flawed and hindered by your humanity.  So, when you become anxious or discouraged because things are not happening and your prayers are not answered, begin to pray and ask Me to change your perspective so you can see from an eternal perspective rather than a temporal one.  Praise Me for My perfect timing in all things and you will begin to experience peace rather than anxiety and discouragement as you wait for answers.

Genesis 25-26, Job 14, Mark 9:1-29

What God said to me – Your walk with Me, your fellowship with Me, this lifelong conversation is so much more important than you realize.  It is not just fellowship; it is constant preparation and teaching and strengthening you for what you are going to face.  Each day is totally new and you never know what you are going to encounter.  I know what is coming so “I AM” constantly preparing you so you can face each situation with grace and peace and faith trusting that you are where I have led you.  I will teach you all you need for life and godliness so you can respond in each situation in a way that is pleasing to Me and in a way which brings Me glory.

Genesis 24, Job 13, Mark 8:22-38

What God said to me – I go before you and behind you.  You are Mine and I go behind you for your protection, so you can be assured that whatever you encounter, it has gone through Me first and I have a purpose for it in your life.  I go before you to lead you and when you are faithful to follow Me, you can have the assurance that you are exactly where I want you to be.  Walking this way in faith, trusting My plan and direction changes your question from Why? to What?  What am I doing?  What am I trying to teach you?  What do I want you to do or not to do?  When you begin to look at your life in this way it will totally change the dynamic of your life and your walk with Me.  Your faith will grow, and our relationship will deepen as your perspective changes.
