Galatians 5:1-25

What God said to me – It was for freedom that I set you free – free from the bondage of sin and flesh.  Spend time with Me – learn to walk by My Spirit and you will not walk in the flesh.  Learn to hear My voice and respond immediately to My commands – to My conviction.  The fruit of the Spirit will grow in your life but you must spend time with Me in order for that to happen.  That is what the lifelong conversation is all about – me teaching you to walk with Me and you learning to hear and respond to My voice.

Ephesians 5:1-33

What God said to me – I want My children to spend time trying to learn what is pleasing to Me.  Spend time in My word – spend time with Me and you’ll come to know what brings Me pleasure.  I know you want to please Me and yet there are so many things pressing in on you that need to be done, you neglect Me and My word.  The thing is that if you will seek Me first and spend time with Me in My word, I will show you the things that are truly important and help you to balance the things that are necessary.

Romans 12:1-8

What God said to me – The way to know My will and not be conformed to the world is to let Me renew your mind.  Letting Me renew your mind is the key to humility – to having a correct estimation of yourself and your place in the body and your relationship to others.  Spend time with Me in My word and I will renew your mind.  I will do a work in you and you will know My will and you will be pleasing to Me.
