1 Timothy 4-6, Psalms 119:65-80

What God said to me – If you want to understand My word you must seek Me.  It is I who gives understanding to those who earnestly seek Me.  You live in an instantaneous world where people expect instant gratification and understanding, or they won’t pursue something.  That is not the way it works with My word.  If you want to go beyond the surface and milk of My word, you will have to devote time and study and meditation to gain understanding.  The deep truths of My word are not easily evident.  You must learn to cry out to Me for understanding and wisdom.  I freely give to those who earnestly do so.

1 Timothy 1-3, Psalms 119:49-64

What God said to me – When you are sad because all the world seems to be rejecting Me and turning away from Me, remember you are just a pilgrim here, this world is not your home.  When you are angry because they violate My law, you must pray, you must stand firm, and you must turn to My word.  Immerse yourself in My word not just so you know how you should respond and how you should stand but also, so you remember the end.  “I AM” the beginning and the end and My will, will be done.  Know that all these things you are seeing and experiencing are simply indications that “I AM” wrapping things up here.  Trust Me.

Nehemiah 11-13, Psalms 119:33-48

What God said to me – People have no reverence for Me because they do not know Me.  They do not know Me because they do not spend time in My word – even My own people don’t.  Being established in My word produces reverence for Me.  To be established in My word takes time and commitment to study.  As you devote yourself to studying My word, a reverence and awe for Me will grow in you as you learn the truth of who “I AM”.  My word will transform you as you seek to know Me through it.  I will speak to you and teach you as you steadfastly pursue Me.
