Nehemiah 8-10, Psalms 119:17-32

What God said to me – Do not be surprised at anything that happens in the world because they turned against Me long ago.  It is becoming more and more depraved as a result.  You sorrow over it because you belong to Me.  I sorrow also and take no pleasure in the death of the wicked.  I have stayed My hand of judgment for a long time in order to give them opportunity for repentance.  However, that time is growing short.  It will not be long before I begin to pour out My wrath on the sin of the world.  The number of those who will repent is growing fewer because they are so hardened and entrenched in their sin.  Take heart – My redemption is drawing nigh.

Nehemiah 4-7, Psalms 119:1-16

What God said to me – When you walk with Me in obedience and seek My direction, you never need to fear that you will miss what I have for you to do.  What you need to do is learn My voice and follow it.  That sense that you should do or not do a particular thing is Me leading you.  Learn to follow it without hesitation or fear.  I will not direct you into calamity.  I will put into your heart what I want you to do.  This is what it means to walk with Me trusting Me to guide you each step.  Stay in My word and continually seek Me and I will establish your ways.  I will not let you wander or fall.

Nehemiah 1-3, Psalms 118:15-29

What God said to me – Do you see how I carry out My plans?  Nothing or no one can thwart Me.  It is My doing – it is all My doing.  I have laid out My plans and now I carry them out.  I turn the hearts of men, even kings, to accomplish My purpose.  Trust Me and watch in awe as you see My plans come to fruition.  You are living in a unique time.  The end of the ages has come, and you have a front row seat.  Study My word.  Make yourself familiar with all that I have laid out in My word.  As you see how I turn the world to accomplish these things you will be in awe and your faith will grow.  Stay in My word and I will reveal great and mighty things that you do not know.
