2 Chronicles 32:1-33:13, Romans 15:23-16:9, Psalms 25:16-22, Proverbs 20:16-18

What God said to me – “The Lord spoke to Manasseh and his people, but they paid no attention.”  This is one of the saddest verses in My word.  You read it and think, “how awful – how could they do that?”  Yet My people today for the most part do the same thing.  I have given My children My word and put My Spirit within them as a Helper and Teacher and yet few ever open My word, much less seek to hear from Me.  My sheep hear My voice and I know them and they follow Me.  I have given you everything you need for life and godliness and have promised that if you seek Me, you will find Me – that is what this lifelong conversation is all about – you seeking Me and Me leading and teaching you and speaking with you as you open My word.  Don’t rush through this time because you have so much to do but learn to stop and seek and read and listen “because you have so much to do”, you need My help and direction first.

2 Chronicles 30-31, Romans 15:1-22, Psalms 25:1-15, Proverbs 20:13-15

What God said to me – “For what was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through perseverance and the encouragement of the scriptures we might have hope.”  My word is first and foremost the way I speak to you and teach you and instruct you through My Spirit, the Helper I sent to you.  In Hezekiah’s day there was a revival with the people of Israel returning to Me.  However, so many of the priests had fallen away, there were not enough consecrated priests to serve all who were coming.  Learn from this story about Hezekiah and the revival of My people – be encouraged that I can bring revival even when people have fallen so far from Me – be prepared and consecrated to Me so you can serve when I call you.  I have called the church to be a kingdom of priests to minister to Me and to lead others to Me so each one of My children must be consecrated to Me and ready to serve.  Are you ready?

2 Chronicles 29, Romans 14, Psalms 24:1-10, Proverbs 20:12

What God said to me – There is an old country song that says, “you’ve got to know when to hold ‘em, you’ve got to know when to fold ‘em.”  It doesn’t just apply to cards, it also applies to your tongue.  Sometimes you just need to hold your tongue because it is not the right time or place to say it – sometimes you just have to let it go because in the overall scheme of things, it is not that big of a deal so your opinion is not useful or uplifting – sometimes you need to lay it all out.  So, how do you know when to speak or not?  First of all, remember you are not the Holy Spirit – it is not your job to convict of sin and righteousness and judgment – it is Mine.  Unless you have absolute certainty that “I AM” leading you to speak, then don’t.  You pray that I will draw, convict and change them.  You lead by example.  You pursue the things that make for peace and the building up of one another.  You be loving and kind and prayerful and walk with Me in obedience knowing that each one will give an account of himself to Me.
