Joshua 7-9, Psalms 54

What God said to me – You must always seek My counsel if you truly want to follow Me wholeheartedly.  Don’t come to the place where you think you understand the situation, so you try to handle it on your own.  A great part of walking with Me is seeking Me out and listening to Me.  Even when things seem obvious, turn to Me and seek My counsel so you are not deceived because there are long term consequences for short term lapses in judgment.  Walking with me means going step by step as I direct. 

Joshua 4-6, Psalms 53

What God said to me – Joshua told the people “Consecrate yourselves for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you.”  But I say to you – consecrate yourselves for “I AM” with you always.  Stay consecrated.  Live consecrated.  “I AM” always at work in your life even in what you call “the little things”.  The very breath you take, the very air you breathe is from Me.  Everything you do, do as unto Me. That is how you live a consecrated life.  “I AM” always your focus.  “I AM” always the one you are striving to please.  What would you change or eliminate from your life if you lived like this?

Joshua 1-3, Psalms 52

What God said to me – I always go before you to prepare the way.  You have no idea the lengths I go to so that My purpose is accomplished in your life.  Sometimes I reveal it to you and sometimes I don’t.  But you can always know this – I have a plan and “I AM” carrying it out.  You must learn to rejoice when the way is easy, knowing I made a smooth path for you.  You must also learn to rejoice when the way is difficult, knowing that I determined that way as well.  There are so many things that can only be learned on the difficult path.  You need to be extra alert and extra receptive during these times because “I AM” taking you down that road for a special reason.
