Hosea 5-8, Song of Solomon 7

What God said to me – There is no escaping My judgment.  Don’t forget this when you look at society and are distressed by all you see.  I will redeem those who are Mine and judge those who are not.  You must stand firm for a little while longer.  My plan is decided, and I will carry it out.  Walk with Me and stay alert.  I will show you great things and open your eyes to what “I AM” doing.  You will see My hand directing events that are leading to that day.  You must be faithful to sound the alarm as you do.  Be a faithful watchman for “I AM” coming soon.

Hosea 1-4, Song of Solomon 6

What God said to me – The time is coming when you will see My hand at work in a mighty way. The day is coming when I will restore My people, Israel fully – not just in the land, but to Me. You see people can live where I want them and appear to follow Me just by virtue of where they are, but their hearts are not fully devoted to me. What about you? Are you just living in a place and way that appears you are following Me or are you fully devoted to Me? You must walk with Me consistently and wholeheartedly. It is so easy to slide away. The human heart is fickle and easily distracted and deceived. You must be on guard so you don’t slip.

1 Chronicles 27-29, Song of Solomon 5

What God said to me – Obedience is what is important – not credit.  All you do should be to please Me and not to get credit or recognition from men.  Look at the temple.  It is known as Solomon’s Temple and yet David is the one who sacrificed and gave generously.  He is the one who prepared.  He is the one I gave the plan.  David’s heart was to please Me and help his son carry out what I required.  He was not focused on his own glory, but on Mine.  A life well lived is one that seeks to please Me and glorify Me.  It is not important where you start out or where you end up in life.  It is the journey in between the start and finish that counts.  Did you walk with Me, or did you go your own way?
