Leviticus 19-21, Proverbs 16:17-33

What God said to me – He who gives attention to the word will find good.  You must devote yourself to My word for in it is all you need for life and godliness.  Spending time in My word demonstrates your trust of Me for you are seeking Me and spending time with Me when you are in My word.  It is how I choose to reveal Myself to you.  If you want to really know Me, then you must spend much time in My word.

Leviticus 15-18, Proverbs 16:1-16

What God said to me – Commit your ways to Me.  That is the first step in walking with Me.  When you commit your way to Me you give up any right to direct your own path.  You rely on Me for instructions for each step you take.  You wait until you hear from Me and then move as I direct.  Step by step – listening – following.  It is like a small child learning to walk – first one shaky step and then another – step by step – listening – following.  You hold My hand.  You hear My voice.  You walk with Me.

Leviticus 12-14, Proverbs 15:18-33

What God said to me – Walking with Me requires discipline and commitment.  You must continually seek Me.  Don’t assume you’re okay because the spots in your life don’t seem “so bad”.  Let Me be the judge.  Present yourself to Me for inspection and instruction as to what you should do.  Let Me shine My light on your heart and life.
