Luke 19-21, Ecclesiastes 4

What God said to me – I do nothing unless I first reveal it through My servants, the prophets.  I set out My plan from the beginning of the world and I revealed it through My word and the prophets.  So why is it that so few understand?  All of these things are not easily ascertained by design.  I reveal Myself to those who diligently seek Me.  The problem is that so few earnestly seek Me, or they presume to know what I intend to do.  Look at those who walked with Me on earth and heard My teachings.  They did not understand My plans even though I laid them out.  It was not until they became desperate because things didn’t turn out the way they thought that they turned back to Me and My word with an open heart and mind.  Don’t wait until you face a desperate situation.  Earnestly seek Me now.

Luke 16-18, Ecclesiastes 3

What God said to me – All things written about Me will be accomplished – just as it was in My first coming, so shall it be at My second.  Judgment is coming and only those who are Mine will escape it.  There is a time for everything under heaven – a time for repentance and a time for judgment.  Once the time for judgment comes, the time for repentance is past.  You must not be quiet.  You must let them know what is coming before it is too late.

Luke 13-15, Ecclesiastes 2

What God said to me – Look to Me for your example and keep your eye on the goal as you go through life.  Filter everything you do or say by looking at the goal to see if those things bring you closer to the goal or move you away from the goal.  I endured the cross by keeping My eyes on the goal – to please My Father and accomplish His will.  Sufferings and trials are not easy but when you see them through the filter of reaching the goal, you begin to understand how they help you in getting there.  Fix your eyes on Me, the author and finisher of your faith.  Trust Me in this and one day you will hear “well done My good and faithful servant”.
