Acts7-9, Proverbs 10:17-32

What God said to me – The Israelites continued on to the promised land, but in their hearts, they returned to Egypt.  So, it is with you – you can appear to follow Me and go through the motions, but the truth lies in your heart.  Where is your heart headed?  Back to the world and the old life or after me into the promise?  The key is your heart.  It doesn’t matter where you are physically, it matters where your heart is.  You must learn to follow Me with your whole heart.  A heart that is divided between Me and the world is a heart that is turning back to Egypt.  Look to Me – trust Me with your heart – give it to Me wholly.

Acts 4-6, Proverbs 10:1-16

What God said to me – The people recognized that Peter and the apostles had been with Me.  Can you say that?  Do people recognize that you have been with Me by the way you speak – by the things you do?  Are you different from the world or do you blend in?  Are you comfortable in the places they frequent, with the books they read, with the movies they see?  You must learn to set your mind on things above and not on earthly things.  You must make it a practice to constantly renew your mind, so you don’t become calloused to worldly things and practices.  You must guard your heart and mind constantly.

Acts 1-3, Proverbs 8-9

What God said to me – “I AM” wisdom.  Turn to Me when you don’t know what to do or where to go and I will give you the wisdom to know.  I give freely to all who seek Me for I love to bless those who come to Me.  I not only give life, but I disclose life.  I show you how to live in such a way that pleases Me.  Your part is to seek Me.  Are you fulfilling your part or are you just going through the motions and then going your own way?
