Exodus 15-17, Proverbs 1

What God said to me – Don’t be a grumbler.  Most people are you know.  They grumble about everything – it’s too hot or it’s too cold, there’s too much or there’s not enough – nothing pleases them.  Think about this – if “I AM” in control and directing your path each step of the way, when you grumble about the difficulties or circumstances you encounter, then you are grumbling about Me.  You are questioning My ability to carry out My plan in your life.  You must learn to quietly accept all that you encounter as from Me and turn to Me to see how you should handle it.  Walk by faith.  Walk with Me.

Exodus 12-14, Psalms 23

What God said to me – Do you see how I distinguish between those who are My people and those who are not?  I have a plan that “I AM” carrying out.  Your part is to look for Me and do what I say.  So much of the time, instead of following, you just stop – whether out of laziness, or fear, or uncertainty – it doesn’t matter.  Never stop following Me.  As I said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to Me – go forward.”  That is what it means to follow by faith.  Seek My direction and then go forward.  I will not let you fall when you are following Me.  When you run into difficulty when you are following Me, it is not because you missed Me, but because “I AM” using that difficulty to get you where you need to be.

Exodus 9-11, Psalms 22:12-31

What God said to me – Do you see how “I AM” always in control and I carry out My plans.  Everything is orchestrated to carry out My purposes and bring glory to My name.  So, always remember that when it appears you have no control and everything is dependent on what someone else does – it is I who am in control, not them.  I want you to see there is a distinction between those who are Mine and those who are not.  I always work things for good for those who are Mine. So, when you are frustrated and think there is nothing that can be done – look to Me for “I AM” always in control.
