Ephesians 1-3, Proverbs 23:19-35

What God said to me – You can never comprehend the depths of My love for you.  All that I have done to redeem you is not just for now, but for ages to come.  As sweet and as rich as your walk with Me in this life can be, it is nothing in comparison to what is to come.  In the ages to come I will bestow upon you the surpassing riches of My grace which in your present human frailness you could not contain.  As you walk with Me now, I reveal Myself to you as you are able to comprehend and absorb.  As you grow and mature, you are able to receive more and gain understanding of who I truly am.  In the age to come you will see Me as “I AM”, but even then, you will never cease to discover more about Me.

Ruth 1-4, Proverbs 23:1-18

What God said to me – Apply your heart to discipline and your ears to words of knowledge.  It takes effort to learn discipline and to accept discipline.  It is much easier to go your own way, but discipline is to be desired, not avoided or dreaded.  It is not easy to submit yourself to My discipline, but there is great reward in living a disciplined life.  Walk with Me and let Me disciple you, for that is what it means to walk with Me.  You become My disciple just as much as Peter or James or John.  You can become a part of My inner circle by devoting yourself to discipline.  As you walk after Me as My disciple, I will reveal Myself to you.

Romans 14-16, Proverbs 22:17-29

What God said to me – Incline your ear and hear My words.  Apply your mind to understand My teaching for “I AM” your teacher.  “I AM” the one who gives you understanding and reveals deep and hidden truths.  “I AM” the word so I alone can give you understanding.  Listen to Me and I will teach you.  Walk with Me and I will instruct you.  Many things in My word are not understood without spending much time in meditation and “wrestling” with Me to grasp them.  Commit yourself to spending that time and I will show you great and wondrous things that you do not know.
