2 John 1:1-13

What God said to me – Be careful.  It is so easy to wander away and let the cares of the world overwhelm you.  I know there are times when you are so busy or so tired you think you don’t have time to sit with Me, but you MUST stop and make time.  You have come so far in your walk with Me, don’t stop now.  Not only is there great reward in setting aside this time, but you need it.  It is during this time that “I AM” able to encourage you and strengthen you so you can continue.  I know when you are tired and discouraged and I know how to help.  “I AM” always with you, but this time is special so don’t neglect it.

1 John 3:1-5:21

What God said to me – In this world you must be like Me, not just so the world sees Me in you, but so you can have confidence in who you are and that you truly belong to Me.  My Spirit will testify to your spirit that you are Mine.  Knowing that you are Mine will give you the confident assurance that “I AM” working in and through you to accomplish My purpose.  Confidence builds upon confidence as you walk with Me and grow in Me.  You can confidently approach Me with anything knowing “I AM” here whenever you call.  I will give you understanding so you may know Me fully.  Come near to Me often.  Let Me work in you so you can walk confidently in Me.

1 John 1:1-2:29

What God said to me – “I AM” coming again and you will see Me face to face so live in a way that you will not be ashamed when you see Me.  You must walk as I walked.  To do this, you must walk with Me so I can teach you how to walk in a manner that pleases Me.  My teaching style is one on one – you and Me.  As we walk together, I teach you using My word and the circumstances of your life.  I don’t lecture you from the front of a classroom and say now go and try this and see how it works.  I teach you one on one during times like this where you open My word and then as we walk through the day, I bring to mind what I’ve told you and show you how to put it into practice.
