Hebrews 12:1-29

What God said to me – Fix your eyes on Me for “I AM” the author and the completer of your faith.  “I AM” your example in all things.  So when you are struggling or tired or losing focus – consider Me.  Look to Me.  Seek Me out.  “I AM” the one who started this good work in you and “I AM” the one who will see it through.  “I AM” with you step by step, moment by moment.  I know it’s hard to believe when you are struggling or so tired you don’t want to do anything, but I have been there, so I know how to help you get through in a way that pleases and glorifies My Father.  Fix your eyes on Me.

Hebrews 10:1-11:48

What God said to me – By faith.  By faith.  By faith.  It is by faith that you walk with Me.  It is by faith that you hear Me speak.  Without faith it is impossible to please Me.  When you are struggling and unsure, turn to My word for faith comes from hearing and hearing from the word of God.  It is how I speak to you and how I build up your faith.  I know it seems repetitious, but the word is the basis for everything I do and say.  You must bind yourself to it and make it part of your very life.  As you read and study constantly be seeking Me, listening to Me, and asking questions.  I mean for this to be an interactive time for us.

Hebrews 7:1-9:28

What God said to me – You can know Me.  Don’t ever doubt that.  I make Myself known to you because I want you to know Me.  I put My laws in you mind and I write them on your heart, and I teach them to you.  I live in you and walk with you and talk with you.  I want you to know Me as deeply and intimately as I already know you.  This is like any relationship – the more time you spend with Me, the better you come to know Me.  The difference is that “I AM” always with you, but you don’t act like it.  You see, “I AM” with you but you’re not spending time with Me.  You do your “stuff” you need to do and come to Me when you have time to fit Me in.  Instead, talk to Me as you’re doing your “stuff” and seek My help and advice.  You’ll come to know Me in new and deeper ways.
