Hebrews 3:1-6:20

What God said to me – Fix your thoughts on Me for “I AM your apostle and high priest.  “I AM” your discipler and teacher.  My word is living and active and through it I teach you and transform you and bind your heart to Mine.  Never forget that My word and I are the same.  It is Me who is living and active and working in your life when you devote yourself to My word.  It is through My word and practicing what I teach you that you become mature.  Keep on seeking Me and obeying all you learn so that you don’t become lazy and lax.  There is a time of rest coming, until then follow Me.

Hebrews 1:1-2:18

What God said to me – “I AM” the word of God and He speaks to you through Me.  To neglect My word is to turn a deaf ear to God.  Do you desire to hear from God?  Then spend much time in My word.  In it you will find all you need for life and godliness.  In it you will come you know Me truly, deeply, intimately.  I promise you that if you will devote yourself to My word and pay close attention to all you learn, you’ll not drift away.  Instead, you will come closer and closer to Me and look more and more like Me as you know Me more intimately and allow Me to transform you.  You will find that My word not only sustains all of creation, but it also sustains your life.  Eat it and breathe it and live in it for it is powerful beyond compare.
