2 Corinthians 10:1-11:33

What God said to me – Never forget you are at war – just because you don’t see it doesn’t mean it’s not true.  You must always stay alert because if you let your guard down even for a moment, you will find yourself drifting away from Me.  Thoughts are not harmless that is why you must take every thought captive.  When you are not diligent your mind will begin to roam and before you know it, your thoughts are far from Me.  Let Me cleanse your thoughts and your mind and teach you how to submit them to Me.  When you are hurt or angry come to Me and work through it with Me.  Don’t bottle it up inside going over and over the hurt or wrong until you’re ready to explode.  Bring it to Me and I’ll show you how to deal with it in a way that pleases Me.

2 Corinthians 7:1-9:15

What God said to me – Riches are deceptive – as you look around the world you see what you think are riches and you desire them yourself and for your family – money, houses, clothes, cars – stuff in general. Yet all of that is fluff – suds floating on the water that eventually disappears. You need to quit thinking in terms of poverty and wealth and begin to think in terms of temporal and eternal. The “stuff” of this world is temporal – every bit of it – even the earth itself. It’s all going to go away – disappear in the blink of an eye. Look to Me and let Me show you what lasts, what is eternal. “I AM” the ultimate insider – I know how it all turns out. Walk with Me and let Me show you what’s really important. Let Me open your eyes to show you how rich you already are.

2 Corinthians 5:1-6:18

What God said to me – Do you have a goal for your life?  Think about it – what do you desire?  What do you strive for?  Does the way you live your life attest to that goal and move you forward?  Or do you say you want the right things but the way you live your life is totally opposite?  I have a goal for you – to please Me and to be conformed to My image.    Are you willing to set that as your life goal?  To achieve such a lofty goal, you must be wholly devoted to Me.  You must let Me change the desires of your heart.  Spending time with Me and seeking to deepen our relationship is essential for it’s here that you learn what pleases Me and I reveal Myself to you.  Step by step and you will learn to walk by faith and not by sight.  Step by step you will move forward toward your goal.
