Romans 15:1-16:27

What God said to me – Everything that was written in the past was written to teach you and to encourage you and to give you hope.  My word does so much for you so don’t neglect it.  You spend so much time striving and struggling yet if you’d spend that time in My word it would transform you so that your striving would cease.  When you spend time in My word you are really spending time with Me for “I AM” the word.  Our conversations center on My word for it is the main way that I speak to you.  In the same way when you neglect My word, you are neglecting Me.  Let Me give you a heart for My word.  I do that as you spend time in it so do it today so we can talk.

Romans 14:1-23

What God said to me – Who do you live for?  Everyone lives for someone.  A few live for Me, most live for themselves, and some live for the enemy.  Although in truth, to live for yourself is to live for the enemy because you are either for Me or against Me – there is no neutral ground.  Your goal should be to live for Me.  Walking with Me is not a matter of what you eat or don’t eat or what you drink or don’t drink.  It is constantly seeking Me through My word and My Spirit and obeying those things I tell you through them.  It is a lifelong conversation of listening and sharing and doing and being.  As you do this, the fruit of My Spirit will grow in your life, and you will begin to look and act like Me.

Romans 12:1-13:14

What God said to me – Conforming to the world begins in your mind with the way you think and the things you dwell on and before you know it, it is being displayed outwardly in the clothes you wear, the things you watch and do, and the places you go.  However My desire and plan is to transform you into My image.  This also begins in your mind with the way you think and the things you dwell on.  The key to this transformation of your mind is My word.  The more time you spend in My word reading, studying, and meditating, the more your mind is renewed and the more you are transformed into My image.  Devote yourself to My word and you will begin to look and think like Me.
