Acts 16:1-17:34

What God said to me – It is in Me that you live and move and have your being.  Never forget this truth for it is the very basis of sovereignty – “I AM” in control of your life and every aspect of it is there for a purpose.  It is not a coincidence that you live where you live, have the family and friends that you have, and you are who you are.  Trust Me to use everyone and everything around you and in you to accomplish My purposes in you.  Learn to welcome the people and circumstances I bring to you as instruments I use to transform you and grow you and make you a temple fit for Me and a vessel useful to Me.  As you do you will become more and more aware of the promptings of My Spirit and the direction “I AM” leading you.

Acts 14:1-15:46

What God said to me – When you have a question, come to Me and ask for I take great delight when My children long to know more about My word or what “I AM” doing in the world or in their lives.  When it comes to My word, My Spirit is a wonderful teacher, and He will lead you in all truth and give you understanding as you diligently seek to know and understand more.  However when it comes to My plans for the world or for your life – that is different.  Sometimes I may speak to you and show you what “I AM” doing and why such events occur or as you go through trials.  But sometimes when you ask questions, I may not answer immediately or directly.  I want you to learn to walk by faith and learn to trust in who “I AM” whether or not you understand what is happening.

Acts 11:1-13:52

What God said to me – Each day you must come to Me in submission and let Me fill you with My Spirit so He can lead you and direct you.  He is always in you ready to teach and guide, but you must seek Me and set aside yourself so He can truly fill you each day and you can walk according to My will.  It is very easy for you to let the day to day “stuff” occupy your thoughts, so you forget to seek Me each moment.  You must practice it until it becomes the habit of your life.  You must stop often and turn your thoughts to Me and ask direction and advice.  I promise as you learn to do this you will find yourself being transformed and our relationship deepening.
