Acts 5:1-7:60

What God said to me – What you must always remember whatever you are going through in your life, whether good or bad is that “I AM” sovereign.  In the good times, it’s easy not to think about it and in the difficult times, it’s easy to question it, so you must purpose to meditate on that truth and hold it close to your heart.  Dwell much on that one thing . . . grasp it and make it your own so that when difficult times come, it’s an easy thing to hold on and walk with Me and trust Me.  Your unbelief and lack of trust doesn’t change the fact that “I AM” in control, but it makes your struggles so much more difficult.  When you acknowledge My sovereignty in your life and in the world and live in the light of it, My peace will fill you and you become an instrument useful to Me and pleasing to Me.

Acts 3:1-4:37

What God said to me – “I AM” sovereign God, creator of all the universe and “I AM” in control of that universe and the lives in it.  As time races to an end, things become more and more difficult . . . creation is groaning under the weight of sin . . . the nations rage, fighting My control.  You must walk closely with Me and listen to Me.  The worse the circumstances become, the bolder you must be.  “I AM” the one who will enable you to speak with boldness to tell of My greatness and power.  “I AM” the one who will fill you and give you the message to proclaim.  For your part, you must be devoted to Me and our time together and obey quickly and faithfully.  “I AM” sovereign God.

Acts 2:1-47

What God said to me – Does the world hear you declaring the wonders of God?  That’s what happened when the disciples were filled with My Spirit – they spoke about Me to those around them.  Witnessing is more than just sharing the plan of salvation – it is sharing about Me.  The world is watching you and listening to you.  Do you act any different than they do?  Do you talk about different things than they do?  Although you may not realize it you are making and impact on them.  Some will hunger for more and long for what you have, and others will make fun and deride you.  You are not responsible for their response.  You are responsible to obey and walk after Me.  Declare the glories of God and watch what happens.
