Luke 24:1-53

What God said to me – “I AM” the one who opens your eyes and ears and gives you understanding.  Not everyone can see or hear or understand for I have not revealed Myself to them.  The world cannot possibly understand because they are blinded to Me.  The one I show Myself to is the one who knows Me.  The one I reveal Myself to is the one who obeys Me.  There is so much you don’t understand and I long to teach you but you must devote yourself to My word for that is where I always start.  As you are in My word, I show you Me.  As you are in My word, I speak to you.  As in any friendship, it takes time and devotion.  “I AM” devoted to you.  Are you truly devoted to Me?

Luke 22:1-23:55

What God said to me – I have prayed for you.  I always pray for you because you are My child.  There will be times when you fall, and you feel like such a failure.  At those times look to Me for “I AM” praying for you.  Turn to Me in repentance and let Me cleanse you and strengthen you, then you in turn will be able to strengthen others.  Serving others is not just ministering to their physical needs, it is also encouraging them as I have encouraged you.  As I have come along side of you and ministered to you, you come along side of them and minister to them.  As I have prayed for you, you pray for them.  People need to see genuine love and compassion and as you show that to them, they will see Me.

Luke 20:1-21:38

What God said to me – Be always on the watch and pray so that you may be able to stand.  It takes devotion and diligence to stand for Me.  You must not only be wholly committed to live for Me, but you must be continually committed.  It’s not a onetime thing, it’s an ongoing lifestyle of choosing Me every minute, every hour, every day.  The enemy would like nothing better than for you to fall.  The world would like nothing better than for you to fall.  In order to stand firm, you must stay alert and be prepared.  Spend time with Me and in in My word and I will prepare you.  I will personally teach you and give you insight into the word.  I will give you discernment so you will be able to stand when you are under attack.  I will give you strength so you will not fall.
