Matthew 22:1-23:39

What God said to me – In order to please Me, you must be genuine, with no pretense.  Not just with no pretense before Me, but with no pretense before others.  It’s okay to struggle . . . to not be “spiritual” all the time.  The key is in how you deal with things.  Come to Me with your struggles rather than glazing over them.  Don’t pretend you’re not struggling or try to hide it – tell Me about it.  It’s not that I don’t know – it’s that it does you good to talk about it – to open a conversation with Me so I can teach you . . . help you.  Envy, resentment, pride – these are difficult things to deal with, but as you talk with Me about them, I’ll walk you through and help you to overcome whatever it is you’re struggling with.  “I AM” here – talk to Me.

Matthew 21:1-45

What God said to me – Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.  That is always true.  Listen to Me.  Walk with Me.  Go where I send you and you will be blessed.  Not only will you be blessed, but I will be praised for when you live in this way, everything in your life points to Me.  You may not realize it or see it, but others will see it and give Me praise.  Your conversation . . . your actions all will be a blessing because everything you do and say will come from Me.  This is to be your goal – to be so close to Me and to know Me so well that all you say and do is a reflection of Me.  Go in My name.  Live in My name.  You will be a blessing to those I bring into your path.

Matthew 20:1-34

What God said to me – I have a plan for you that is exactly right for you down to every detail . . . from your looks . . . to your economic status . . . to your family . . . to your spiritual gifts.  I have customized a plan for you that is perfect for transforming you into My image and making you pleasing to Me.  Don’t look at others and wish to be like them or to have what they have – if that was best for you then I would have done it.  Look to Me.  Keep your focus on Me.  You waste so much time thinking about what you aren’t or what you don’t have.  Spend that time instead with Me – in My word – talking to Me – serving Me.  Contentment will be the result.  Peace will be the result.  No matter what you need or what you face you will know that “I AM” with you working out My plan.
