2 Samuel 16-18

What God said to me – When you have trials or obstacles or difficulties in your life cry out to Me for “I AM” always close, ready to help or to comfort or to give you strength. Take comfort that “I AM” accomplishing My plan in your life and in the world. Even when the circumstances seem impossible, never forget that “I AM” sovereign. Nothing can thwart My plan or change My love for you. I will grow your faith and bring glory to My name as you walk through the difficulties facing you. There are times when you find yourself facing challenges and there is absolutely nothing you can do to change your circumstances. I know it is difficult to stay still and trust Me to work on your behalf, knowing apart from My intervention, all is lost. This is when you must cling to Me, knowing I love you and My plan is perfect.

Matthew 18:1-19:30

What God said to me – Come to Me as a child, eager to please Me and delight in My approval.  I never turn away from My children.  “I AM” always here and eager to hear from you.  I know all about you and yet I take great delight in hearing you tell it – the things you’ve learned – the things you’ve done – the things you’re facing.  Come to seek My blessing.  Come to seek My advice.  Come to seek My help.  Come just to be with Me.  The more time you spend with Me, the closer you will come to Me . . . the more you will be like Me.  You have no idea the benefit it is to you just to come to Me as your Father.  Don’t neglect this time for it passes quickly.  If you don’t make it a priority today, the odds are it will never be a priority.  Come My child.

Matthew 17:1-27

What God said to me – This is My Son – listen to Him.  In all these years, that command has not changed.  Listen to Him!  That is the way you will please Me most – listen to Him.  The problem with most people – even My children – is their attention is on everything but My Son.  There is so much going on around you – so much noise in the world that either you ignore Him, you don’t hear Him or you don’t recognize His voice in the crowd.  You must take the time to come away from it all so you can hear Him – so you can learn His voice so you will recognize it in the midst of the din of the world.  He will guide you if you only listen.  Come away often and spend time with him.  Learn to listen.  Practice listening for you will hear from Me.
