Daniel 1:1-3:30

What God said to me – You live in difficult times with ungodliness all around you – so much that it has become common place and people pay it no mind.  Even My people act like there is nothing wrong.  Don’t be like that.  Don’t just go along.  Take a stand.  You must resolve to be holy.  You must not allow your heart and mind to be defiled.  The fare the world offers may seem appealing, but it will dull your mind and your senses to Me.  Resolve to be holy and to remain undefiled even in the midst of the world.  Seek Me.  Feed on My word.  Let Me wash you with the water of the word and cleanse you from the defilement of the world so you can hear from Me and have fellowship with Me.

Ezekiel 44:1-48:35

What God said to me – Worship is important – it is the most important thing you do for in worship you see Me as “I AM”, high and lifted up.  Worship takes cleansing and preparation in order to be pleasing to Me.  Most often true worship doesn’t take place in the presence of others, it takes place alone with Me.  With others it is easy to be distracted or to be concerned with what they are thinking or doing, but alone you can focus on Me.  Don’t dread time alone or waste it on useless things, come to Me.  Spend this precious time in worship, seeking Me and I will reveal Myself to you.  You will see Me high and lifted up and in all My Glory.  Come to Me and worship.

Ezekiel 37:1-43:27

What God said to me – Consider My plan – that’s what I want you to do.  Think of your life in that context – how do you fit into My plan – because you do fit!  My plan is not just for the world, it is for you also.  The way I gift you, the ministry I lead you into, the events of your life, and even the people I bring you into contact with are all part of My plan for you.  You may not think it’s much or that what you do is important or effective in the overall scheme of things, but “I AM” using you to accomplish My plan.  Remain faithful.  Don’t get discouraged for “I AM” at work in you, in your family, and in the world.
