Isaiah 13:1-14:32

What God said to me – The desire for more and putting yourself higher always results in pride which will eventually cause you to fall.  Descending that way is a difficult and humiliating way to learn the lesson of humbleness.  It’s when you choose to give rather than have more and when you step aside and serve rather than step up to the front that true humility will come.  Those who lift up themselves, I will bring down.  But those who humble themselves, I will lift up in due time.  Don’t seek glory, seek to serve.  Don’t step to the front, put others first.  A servant’s heart is more pleasing to Me than the greatest success.  Walk with Me and I will teach you what it means to walk with humility.  Only I can remove pride from a heart.  Let Me transform you.

Isaiah 10:1-12:6

What God said to me – So few people truly rely on Me.  Even though “I AM” the giver and sustainer of life, few actually acknowledge it by the way they live.  Some pay Me lip service, but few actually live it.  My desire is for you to truly learn what it means to rely on Me.  Let Me schedule your day.  Turn to Me for the next thing you need to do.  Start your day with Me and let Me set your priorities for the day.  To do that means you must come to Me first thing, don’t hit the ground running and fit Me in when you can.  Let Me come with you . . . help you . . . guide you.  I will open your eyes to see what to do and to be more effective.  I created all that is just by speaking so surely, I can help you get through your day.  Come to Me.  Rely on Me.

Isaiah 8:1-9:21

What God said to me – My strong hand is upon you.  You belong to Me.  I will speak to you and guide you.  Wait for Me.  Put your trust in Me.  Don’t step out on your own hoping I will bless your efforts.  Wait for Me.  Put your trust in Me.  When the time is right, I’ll let you know.  As you walk with Me and put your trust in Me, you are a sign and a symbol to the world that points them to Me.  They will see Me through you.  As you live before them, live out loud.  Tell them of My faithfulness.  Let them know that you are who you are because of Me in your life.  To be My reliable witness you must be steadfast.  You cannot move in and out of the world and expect them to believe your witness.  Be diligent in your faithfulness.  Walk with Me.
