Psalms 68:1-69:36

What God said to me – Keep your heart turned toward Me at all times.  Seek Me continually.  Pray and give thanks.  Express your joy and praise often for it pleases Me.  Don’t be so consumed with “doing” for Me that you forget about Me.  “Doing” only pleases Me when it’s in obedience to My instructions, otherwise, it is just “doing” and it diverts you from My real desire for you.  “Doing” apart from Me always brings weariness.  You will burn out because you are going in your own strength and not Mine.  Spend more time talking to Me, praising Me, thanking Me, and listening to Me and you will become more productive in the “doing” because you will be walking with Me, and I will refresh you as we go on together.

Psalms 64:1-67:7

What God said to me – I chose you and I brought you near Me.  Come into My presence with singing and praise that we might rejoice together.  It is My great joy to hear the praises of My people.  I chose you and brought you near Me, but you must choose Me daily – moment by moment, not for salvation for you are already Mine and nothing can take you out of My hand, but for surrender.  Surrender to Me daily.  Make a choice daily to turn to Me, to ask Me what to do, where to go.  Make a choice to praise Me in all things.  Make a choice to let the sound of My praise to be heard.  Tell not just of my great works, but of My sustaining power and comfort through difficult times.  I chose you . . .  now you choose Me.

Psalms 58:1-63:11

What God said to me – I hear your cry.  I listen to your prayers.  It is My great joy for you to turn to Me . . . to be dependent upon Me . . . to realize that “I AM” the source of all you need.  There is a great heritage for those who fear My name.  It is your responsibility to pass this heritage on to others.  Tell of My good works.  Tell of My faithfulness.  Speak of My word and the things I have taught you.  Pass your heritage on.  As you live out loud for Me, walking in faithfulness and sharing what I’ve done, you pass on an eternal heritage to those who hear and receive.  As you cry out to Me and I answer your prayers and you share with others what I answered, then you pass on this great heritage.  Walk with Me and pass it on.
