Psalms 18:1-20:9

What God said to me – “I AM” your support for I uphold you at all times.  You are most aware of it when things are difficult, or you are afraid.  You cry out to Me, and I reach down and take hold of you – but “I AM” with you not just when you “think” you need Me, but always.  Sometimes the most difficult times to stand . . . to remain faithful are the easy times . . . the good times.  If you are not careful, you will become lax and forget Me . . . think you can handle things on your own.  That is the time to devote yourself to My word and spending time with Me, so you won’t stray.  Stay in My word for it will bind your heart to Me.  It is a lesson few take the time to learn. Let Me teach it to you.

Psalms 16:1-17:15

What God said to me – Look upon My face for “I AM” here always looking at you.  Don’t keep on looking down, always seeing the circumstances you are in – look up!  Look to Me, knowing that “I AM” in control.  I have assigned you your circumstances . . . your lot in life.  It is part of My plan for you.  Don’t bemoan where you are.  Rejoice in My plan for you.  Focus on Me.  Set your mind on Me.  Let every step begin with the thought “Where now Lord?”  I will guide you.  Even through the mundane routines and chores of your life, seek Me.  You will find joy in the ordinary as you do things with Me as your focus.

Psalms 9:1-15:5

What God said to me – When the foundations are being destroyed and all seems to be going wrong – look to Me.  “I AM” in My holy temple.  “I AM” on My throne in heaven.  I rule the universe and all that is in it.  Don’t ever forget that you are in My hand and “I AM” in control.  Seek My word for it is flawless.  Trust in My unfailing love.  Rejoice in Me and in your salvation, knowing that no matter what happens in the end you will stand.  There will come a day when you will dwell with Me in My holy sanctuary – but never forget that even now I dwell with you for you are My sanctuary.  Be at peace for “I AM” with you.
