Nehemiah 9:1-13:30

What God said to me – I have given you My good Spirit to instruct you.  Stay in My word and let My Spirit teach you.  There is much you do not understand but My Spirit will enlighten you.  You will know the truth and it will set you free – free to serve Me – free to worship Me.  Don’t be like Israel.  They failed to listen to Me and failed to remember all the good things I had done for them and the bad things that happened because of their disobedience.  Whenever they came to a place of rest, they would forget Me and go their own way.  You must learn from them.  In the difficult times you automatically turn to Me because of your need.  In the good times stay even closer.  Remain in My word, listen to Me and remember what I have done so you don’t fall away.

Nehemiah 6:1-8:18

What God said to me – Listen attentively to all I say.  My word is life to you . . . it is your food . . . it is your sustenance.  Spend much time in My word.  Devote yourself to it for through it you will hear from Me.  “I AM” your teacher as you study My word.  Question Me and I will explain.  I will open the truth to you as you seek Me.  I will reveal Myself to you and you will come to know Me intimately.  Don’t neglect My word of truth for in doing so, you neglect Me.  If you truly want to know Me deeply and walk with Me closely then you must devote yourself to My word for “I AM” the word.

Nehemiah 3:1-5:19

What God said to me – I have placed you where I have placed you for a reason.  Don’t think you need to go somewhere else to minister in My name.  Look around you.  I placed you where you are for a reason.  Just as the Israelites rebuilt the section of wall in front of their own house, open your eyes and look around you.  See what needs to be done and go to work, Look to see what “I AM” doing around you and join Me.  When you come into contact with hurting, needy people it is because I brought them to you.  Minister to their needs.  You may not think you have an important assignment in My kingdom but look around your home and neighborhood and office – “I AM” at work. Join Me.
