2 Chronicles 8:1-9:31

What God said to me – Just as I placed Solomon where he was king because of My love for Israel, I have placed you where you are because of My love for people.  I have gifted you and equipped you to serve My people.  Ask for My wisdom.  Seek Me often.  Let Me direct you in My service and My church will be blessed.  It doesn’t matter what the task – whether you think it great or small – it matters that you obey and serve.  I don’t differentiate between the one who preaches or the one who teaches or the one who sings or the one who parks cars – My measuring rod is obedience.  There is no blessing apart from obedience.

2 Chronicles 5:1-7:22

What God said to me – My eyes are always on My temple as is My heart.  “I AM” attentive to the prayers offered there.  You are My temple and My eyes are always on you.  Nothing concerning you escapes My attention.  Don’t be afraid no matter what is happening around you.  I know all and “I AM” in control.  I chose you for Myself and you are part of My plan.  Keep your focus on Me.  Set your mind on Me for I will direct your path.  I have clothed you in salvation so you can rejoice always.

2 Chronicles 1:1-4:22

What God said to me – You are fearfully and wonderfully made – I made you in My image.  I made you to be My temple so I could dwell with you always.  Though the whole earth could not contain My glory, I have chosen you to dwell within . . . My glory within you . . . My name within you.  Submit yourself to Me and My glory will shine forth for all the world to see.  What a wonderful thought – the God of the universe living through you . . . I know it’s incomprehensible but I created you for that very purpose.  My plan for you is to glorify Myself in you.  Walk with Me.  Obey Me.  Surrender yourself to Me.  Let My glory shine through you.
