Colossians 1:1-29

What God said to me – This is My call for you – to present My word in its fullness to those I bring to you.  I have gifted you and given you understanding so that you might teach others the truth of the mysteries of God.  I will open the doors in My time.  In the meantime, you must spend much time in My word, letting Me teach you and give you understanding.  You must labor diligently so you will be prepared at a moment’s notice – always ready to stand and teach.  My word is to be your food, your air, your very life.  Devote yourself wholly to My word for then you are wholly devoted to Me.

Philippians 3:1-4:23

What God said to me – I laid hold of you for a reason – I chose you to be Mine.  You did not choose Me, but I chose you.  Now you must press on so you can take hold of Me.  Forget about your past failures – today and forever are what are important.  Move forward, press on, don’t stop now.  Keep your mind set on Me – on things above – not on earthly things for this is how you will get through the difficult circumstances you find yourself in.  This is how you stand firm and not waiver – always look to Me, always talk to Me, always listen to Me.  Practice shutting down the thoughts of worry or fear and turning your thoughts to Me.  Practice until it becomes second nature to you and My peace will fill you up.

Philippians 1:1-2:30

What God said to me – The work I began in you so long ago, I continue today and each day until I see you face to face.  “I AM” at work in you, changing you, teaching you, conforming you to My image.  The thing about this work though, is that it goes so much better when you are cooperating with Me and seeking to do My will.  “I AM” still working when you go your own way, either neglecting Me or bucking against Me, but it is so much harder on you.  Know this – “I AM” committed to you and I will not let you go or leave you alone no matter what you do.  However when you conduct yourself in a manner worthy of the gospel and seek Me continually, My work in you becomes a joyful thing for you and for Me.
