2 Kings 1:1-2:25

What God said to me – I have a calling for each one of My children and I equip them to be able to fulfill that calling.  Listen to Me and I will direct you step by step to fulfill your calling.  I will fill you with My spirit and direct you step by step and moment by moment.  I have placed My mantle upon you.  Walk with Me faithfully until the day I call you home.  Desire to please Me . . . yearn for the things of heaven,  Plead for a double portion of My Spirit, not so you will be noticed, but so you can please Me even more and accomplish My purposes in the world.  “I AM” coming for you someday.  Until that day serve Me faithfully.

1 Kings 20:1-22:53

What God said to me – “First seek the counsel of the Lord.”  Wise words that few people listen to . . . even My own children.  Everyone goes their own way – doing what they deem as right – never seeking Me and My desires.  “I AM” God.  I have chosen to live within you so I can guide you in My ways, show you My will, teach you My word.  Turn to Me.  Seek My counsel.  Quit making plans on your own.  You must learn to lay aside your desires and seek Mine.  Seek Me each day even for those things you think are small.  I can use the smallest things to make a difference . . . to change lives.  It’s through the small things, day by day, that your faith grows.

1 Kings 17:1-19:21

What God said to me – I hear your cry.  I know your heart.  There is nothing going on in your life of which “I AM” not aware.  You are not alone.  “I AM” always with you.  “I AM” not a feeling or sensation . . . a bolt of lightning or a crash of thunder.  Whether you see Me or feel Me is not important.  Know that “I AM” there . . . trust in that . . . hold on to that.  “I AM” at work in your life always.  Open your eyes . . . look for Me.  A kind word from someone . . . a surprising circumstance . . . “I AM” always at work directing people and circumstances to bless and encourage you.  Look about.  Open your eyes.  You will see Me at work.
